Workshops in schools and community centres are taking place this week and next as Thurrock residents use their creativity to design 10 beautiful Thurrock 100 flags. These designs are some of our favourites so far!

The ten flags – each representing one of the walks – will feature the buildings, landmarks, beauty spots and other things that make Thurrock special, chosen by participants and pulled into a single design by artist Ali Pretty.

Design workshops continue for the rest of this week and next. Later in the month, all 10 flags will be painted at Kinetika’s studio at High House Production Park, Purfleet.  Dates and times can be found here. If you’d like to take part, please email us.
