WALKING

Welcome to T100 Festival

The tenth T100 Festival is T100 Goes Wild, a celebration of growing and going wild, taking place between Saturday 25 May – Saturday 22 June 2024, bringing a range of walks, events and activities to locations across Thurrock, and beyond. Find out more and book your free place on T100 Goes Wild events by clicking this link.

This year’s festival will launch on 25 May at High House Production Park with a family-friendly garden party full of workshops, performances, tours, and more. Following this, we will embark on twenty-two walks, half of which are public and bookable below, across Thurrock and further afield to discover our unique landscape and natural wildlife. From Canvey Wick to Grays, South Ockendon to Hackney, Fobbing to Rainham Marshes, we will be exploring nature, stories of local communities and more.

As part of this year’s festival, we are working with Thurrock LGBTQ+ Network and Arts Outburst on Thurrock’s first-ever Pride event on 8 June, we will co-leading a walk from Purfleet Train Station to Thameside Theatre alongside community members.

Everybody is invited to celebrate our finale and ten-year anniversary with us on 22 June as we parade through Grays town centre into the second edition of the Afro Food Fest event in Grays Town Park. Come and wave a flag in a memorable event marking ten years of local creativity and culture. Contact the team hello@t100festival.co.uk to book your place and your flag on the parade!

The T100 Team has been working with local community members to plan a regular programme of free walks for different appetites taking place year-round across Thurrock and the surrounding areas. Discover the regular walks and book your place by clicking this link.
