Save the date!

The wonderfully popular Thurrock 100 festival will return for its fourth year with a focus on the rich diversity of local recipes!

Dates for the diary are:

  • 7th-22nd July 2018
  • 21st July will be a special event as part of the Port open day.

We’re beginning to scope out a series of walks that go in search of 100 recipes that reflect the rich diversity of the people that live here, and explore where our food and our traditions come from.

There will be a range of daytime and evening walks taking in markets, nature reserves and strolls along the estuary, and all varieties of food to explore and share from locally grown produce to Italian Ice cream along the seafront, an Indian picnic, and a Grays Town takeaway trail with lots more to be revealed soon!

We are excited that the walking, talking and eating festival will extend to Southend and Barking this year, happening 7th – 22nd July, with a very special event on 21st as part of the Tilbury Port open day.
