A Place at the Table: Celebrating Our Community [Festival Finale]
Saturday 6 June
The celebratory finale of T100 2026 – an afternoon of making, performance, food and conversation by Kinetika’s home in Purfleet-on-Thames.
From heritage walks to graffiti workshops, poetry in dye gardens to citizen science at dusk, and playful performances to a joyful community celebration, this year’s T100 Festival brought Thurrock into motion, connecting where we’ve come from with where we might go next.
For twelve years, Kinetika’s T100 Festival has invited people to explore, talk and create together across Thurrock. In 2026, Seeing Thurrock Differently: A Journey Home brought artists, schools, storytellers, scientists, poets, neighbours and Thurrock’s next generation together to share stories, uncover hidden histories, celebrate creativity and imagine new futures rooted in place.
Over sixteen days, hundreds of people joined walks, workshops, performances and creative activities across the borough, discovering familiar landscapes through fresh eyes and strengthening connections to the places they call home.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this year’s festival possible.
