A Place at the Table: Celebrating Our Community
Saturday 6 June 2026
12pm – 4pm
Please Note: The event location has changed from Tilbury to High House Production Park, Purfleet-on-Thames.
Join Kinetika and Together Productions for a joyful community event celebrating the finale of this year’s T100 Festival.
Bring a picnic blanket and lunch, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity, music and live performance alongside local residents, artists, walkers, young ambassadors and community groups from across Thurrock.
Beginning with a vibrant flag parade led by mobile musician Jean Claude Lionbeat on the BASSIS bike, the afternoon is packed with creative activities for all ages including poetry, singing, graffiti art, theatre and much more.
Expect relaxed spaces to connect, share stories, try something new and celebrate the people and places that make Thurrock feel like home.
Throughout the afternoon, enjoy:
• Graffiti workshops with Scotty Brave
• Singing workshops with Together Productions
• ‘Fresh Air and Snacks’ by T100 Young Ambassadors
• Live poetry with Rachel Morgan
• T100 Stories with Laura Trevail

At T100 we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint at every level and would like to encourage all people attending our events and walks to use public transport if they are able to. If you need to drive, please let us know if you would consider car-pooling or car sharing.
By train: Regular trains run between London and Grays to Purfleet Train Station, 20 minutes and 1 mile walk from the event site. For those arriving by train, there will be a walk-in from Purfleet Train Station from 11.30am.
By bus: The 44 bus runs between Grays and Lakeside stopping at Hutson Terrace.
Parking: Free parking on-site at High House Production Park.
The event is accessible for wheelchairs and large pushchairs, including the parade through the site.
T100 walks are of different lengths and on varying terrain. Some are mainly on footpaths, and others mainly on footpaths where ground may be uneven. We have designed our programme with accessibility in mind so we hope that there is something for everyone to enjoy. If you would like to discuss this please contact hello@t100festival.co.uk
Everyone needs to choose walks within their capabilities. The walk leaders are experienced but must take people’s word that they will be ok undertaking the walk they have chosen to join.
Due care has been exercised in organising the walks, however Kinetika, the funders and associated partners of the project cannot accept liability for loss, accident or injury caused to any person following the routes, especially unsupervised. Participants under the age of 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Please ensure that you are properly equipped for all walks. The weather can be unpredictable so bring waterproof clothing and/or sun hats and sun cream – it’s best to be prepared for all weather.
Walking boots/shoes are recommended, but if you don’t have these please wear suitable and comfortable footwear – best to leave open-toe sandals or high heels at home. Make sure you bring snacks and a packed lunch with you, if necessary, and plenty to drink.
Toilet facilities can be accessed in the Barns at High House Production Park during the event.
We will be taking photographs and video of this event to promote and celebrate the event in print and online. If you do not give consent to be photographed or filmed, that’s absolutely fine. Please let a member of the T100 team know on the day.
