T100 10th Anniversary Flag Parade

Saturday 22 June 2024

Start: Kilverts Field, RM17 6JT

End: Grays Town Park, RM17 6RB, joining Afro Food Fest

T100 is 10! The finale of T100 Goes Wild took place on 22 June in Grays, with a 10th Anniversary Flag Parade. This procession was filled with dancing, music from Kinetika Bloco and Boom Bikes, as well as flags made with community members from across Thurrock with arts organisation Kinetika. The parade kicked off at Kilverts Field, where community members who signed up to hold flags were led in movement workshops by choreographer Charlene Low and her team. The flag parade moved through Grays town centre into the second edition of the Thurrock Afro Food Fest at Grays Town Park. This event was funded by Start Thurrock.  Start Thurrock is supported by Arts Council England through the Creative People and Places programme.
