East Tilbury and Beyond
Achievement: Emergency Services
18th June 2022
Starts: British Bata Memorial Gardens
Ends: British Bata Memorial Gardens or Gobions Park
Booking for these walks is now closed but you can follow the routes on your own.
This event was in two parts. The first walk was a morning, scenic sea wall walk via East Tilbury Village and Coal House Fort. The second walk saw us tour around the town from Bata Memorial Gardens to Gobions Park.
East Tilbury Primary school students led a guided tour as we walked in the shoes of those who make our community great. We arrived at Gobions Park to a musical performance from Kinetika Bloco and Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions to kick start the community celebrations.
