To and Fro: Tilbury International Cruise Terminal to the Worlds End Pub

Thurs 17 September 2020

Read our COVID-19 UPDATE HERE

Booking for this walk is now closed but you can follow the route on your own.

Wherever you are, we invite you to make a mandala between 12-27 September and share with us using #T100Calling or in our Facebook group.

A walk along the Thames path between the two defensive forts which explores significant landmarks where you can imagine scenes from the vibrant Thames history.

This part of the Thames has a fascinating mix of industrial and military history and can be perceived as the gathering point for London’s debris, but among the debris are treasures both physical and anecdotal that make this stretch of the river fascinating.

Along the walk it is possible to scrape back the layers of physical and oral history to discover Thurrock’s relationship to the Thames; from spotting treasures on the tideline to deciphering the graffiti on the Thames wall.
